raggedy ol' Bear Grizzly, 58-inch, 45 pound recurve. me-built 11/32 cedar shaft arrows, three fletch 5-inch shield cut feathers, self nock, 31-inches, 160-grain grizzly glue-on broad heads. i draw about 30 inches, so really about 50 pounds. i shoot off the shelf, tab, three-fingers under. i have easton gamegetter xx75 store bought arrows set up similarly that shoot same POI as wood arrows ...

qinn stallion..its a 61in bow@ 45lb/28in draw. I shoot a variety of heads on beman 500 spine arras...at a target...i have missed some deer with it..but never killed one...ill get around to it one day.

Did you put backing on the limbs on the one you made Mr. Troy? sort of...I put a rattlesnake skin on it, just for looks I did put a sinew backing on a short longbow I made...added about 7 pounds to it and increased speed.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I am going to shoot a galaxy sage 62in-45 lb. gold tip warrior 500 arrows with a 145 grain Broadhead. What are y’all setup? Pretty much the ssme setup. I have a Bear Wolverine riser, which is a Spyder riser but different color, and Sage limbs, 45lbs. Bow is 62 inches. I have a BCYX string from Daniel at Hunters Choice Bowstrings. This year zim shooting 1916 aluminums cut to 29 1/4 inches. I Draw 28 inches. 125 grain Magnus Stinger

my old bear grizzly developed slight twists at the tips, killing consistency, so i replaced her with a spyder takedown recurve, 62 inches, 48 at 28, so about 50 at my 30-inch draw. same arrows as above. the longer bow shoots much more smoothly, very consistently ...
