Until I got a verifier peep. I've heard of them, but never got one until yesterday. So if you where glasses, and you see two pins, or they are blurry, a "verfier" made a world of difference for me. Highly recommend them. They come in different powers. Don't confuse them with a "clarifier" which is used for scopes or magnified sights.

If you’re like me and near sighted in your shooting eye (pin was clear but target was very blurry), then a clarifier will fix you up. Getting older, I mean more mature, sucks!

I got one this year. My groups are a ton better.

I had never heard of them tell I guy I met recently told me about them.

Blurry pins is one reason I gave up shooting a compound and pick up a recurve.

What's the difference between a verifier and a clarifier?

Not sure Fur,maybe the way the lens is curved? A clarifier helps clear the target up when you have a sight with lens magnification. A verifier is kind of like reading glasses for up close to see your pins. Different powers are available to change out in your peep. That's the way I've been told. I assume there are other cases it helps.

A Verifier is used when you shoot with pins to clear up the pins, and a Clarifier is used when you shoot with a scope and a lens to clear up the target. Verifiers are generally preferred by older archers who have lost some ability to focus on objects that are close-up, such as sight pins. I’m my case of being near sighted in my shooting/dominate eye I needed the clarifier to give me a focus target as it was blurry for me but I could see my pin with no issues.
