If you guys have not tried these you need to give them a shot. Get 1 or 2 jars of Wickles Okra and wrap each piece with a half slice center cut bacon and then sprinkle with Southern Black Powder Seasoning. Cook indirect heat at 250 until bacon is completely cooked. Dip in your favorite sauce, I use a spicy homemade Ranch. If you don't have a BGE just cook them in the oven.

You must have been to Waverly Local? They have this dish and after eating it 2-3 times there, I make them at home a lot!

We eat there about every weekend when we are at the lake but I have been making these way before they ever opened. I was so shocked to see them on their menu. I get them everytime I am there.

I have several also, but i'm tired of Wickles being Slimy (cost too much for that) they are either not fresh when they jar 'em or there's and issue with the pickling, so i'm going to try another brand that i like, and cost less also.....

I agree .... I’m still a huge Wickles fan but for my pickled okra I stick with Talk o’ Texas HOT

Wickles okra is way to sweet for my taste.

Wickles dipped in Dukes is an appetizer that is a crowd pleaser. Add some crystals garlic hot sauce for some extra zip!
