You need to go on CNN and MSNBC and say that. According to them, not only does that cocktail not work but it stands a better than 50% chance of killing you when you take it, according to them. Fauci and those that fought the use of this should all be jailed on manslaughter charges for intentionally keeping this out of the hands of the doctors. There is no telling how many deaths could have been prevented and lives saved if they had made this the treatment protocol at the first sign of symptoms. You cannot tell me that it was not done intentionally and with political motivation. anyone who says the Trump cocktail does not work is a damned liar. PERIOD> This med has been used for many many years without killing anyone, all of a sudden is is dangerous. BULLSHITT. if taken early it works wonders. ANY DOCTOR/AUTHORITY THAT DENIES ITS USE OR TRIES TO KEEP IT FROM BEING DISTRIBUTED SHOULD BE DRUG OUTSIDE AND SHOT DEAD.

Glad it’s got you headed in the right direction. I’m no medical expert but it seems pretty obvious why there was such outcry to these drugs being used. No money to be made off of em. And the Democraps needed the virus to infect as many and do as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time in order to be able to blame it all on Trump. You've got meds that a lot of people say have completely knocked it out within 3-4 days, yet the CDC claimed hydroxy doidnt work and was too dangerous to use and numerous governors prohibited its use in the blue states and the IMH and CDC both refused to issue treatment protocols to actively treat the virus at the first sign of known infection. Naturally, the longer something has to get established within the body, the harder it will be to fight it off or kill it. Think about it......this is the only "deadly" virus in the history of mankind where you are in no way, treated proactively, and told to just go back home and try to get over it on your own until it gets so bad that you're about to die, then they start active treatment. The whole thing reeks of politically motivated BS at the expense of the american population, to me.

I figured that out pretty quick with all the misinformation from WHO and cdc and fauci...its as if they were trying to make it spread faster with the protocols they were enacting then countering and spitting something different...death rate is going down here and wouldn't be 100k if not for the nursing home people

Don't you have to have a positive test to get a scrip for all that? I mean by the time you feel sick enough to go get tested and wait a week for the results your 10 - 14 days into it ain't you? Any advice on getting the meds sooner would be appreciated. I'm thankful you are doing better, Troy! I have the same concern about getting the meds in time. We thought that my wife had it, but her test was negative. But if it had been positive, should would have been having symptoms for 2 weeks before getting any medicine for it. With all that's wrong with me, I figure there's a good chance I wouldn't last long enough to ever get the meds.

PCP, if that is the case, I would highly recommend going ahead and meeting with your primary care physician to have a plan in place just in case you do come down with symptoms. Tell him your concerns and that you want to have a plan in place between the two of you just in case it is needed at some point in the future and that given your pre-existing conditions, you do not want to wait 3-4 days waiting on test results to begin treatment. I had my father do this with his PC and he is ready to call in the scripts for him based on just a phone call or teleconference if the need arises. Always best to plan well ahead if you feel that time will be critical.

Not to hijack troy's thread, and ^^^^^ this is a very good plan...but why do you have to have a positive test to even get the prescription? Doc will write you one for zpac and or antibiotics at the hint of a breeze, seems if you have 2 or 3 of the symptoms (loss of taste/smell being biggest), they'd call you in a script for the cocktail quick like without requiring a test?
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

gman, no rule says you have to have a positive test, just some pharmacies won't deliver the drugs without a positive test. I would have a talk with the pharmacist about the boycott he is going to face by doing that.
there is no shortage of this drug and no reason not to use it at the first opportunity.

there is no shortage of this drug and no reason not to use it at the first opportunity. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have a problem with my pharmacist, since he is a good aldeer poster. Probably would be a good idea to talk to my Dr before I get sick.

I might have to drive to near Birmingham, but I think I know a pharmacist who’d fill that script for me if I got the China flu.

On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”
