Mistake #1: I stopped by there.
Mistake #2: I called Mrs. Irishguy and texted her a menu of their offerings.
Mistake #3: I called our friend Bettina and texted her a menu of their offerings.

230 some odd dollars later I had a Conecuh trucker's hat, 12 pounds of various types of sausage, a few pounds of bacon, 2 - 15 pound smoked hams and a whole smoked turkey.

Our freezer and fridge at the cabin are so full, I had to store our ham and turkey in our friend's freezer.

Our friend Gina brought us up several pounds of fresh shrimp from Bayou La Batre, so it looks like it's going to be a gumbo type weekend...

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

I believe they have the best sausage commercially available.

Have they opened their new store front? It’s been a while since I was down that way.

I grew up in Monroeville, which is just a stones throw from Evergreen and every year at Christmas time my dad would make a trip over there and get hams and turkeys to give to his clients. I always tell people that if you like their sausage you would love their turkeys and hams!

Yes it is, which is why I stocked up. Tried the new (to me) black pepper sausage.

It is a good fitting hat too. Probably the best fitting trucker style hat that I have ever owned. The brand name is Outdoor Cap and the model number is FWT-130.

I agree with you. Hands down. I've tried various brands and keep coming back to Conecuh. Liked the Hickory smoked best of all. I got 4 pounds of the hickory smoked bun length. I will never go back to hot dogs now that I've had these.

I knew about the bacon, but did not know about the hams and turkeys until I stopped there. We will probably have the turkey for thanksgiving and the Ham at Christmas.

I eat their sausage all the time. Probably once a week. I have never had an issue with anything like that.
