It really is genius. I've never spent that much on boots, and I feel like I've always bought really quality boots. When I heard the commercials, I looked up the prices and couldn't believe they were so high, after them bragging about the price.
They also have that nutty Glenn Beck doing long eloquently worded commercials for them on his radio show. It has tempted me to look at them.
I listen to Beck at least a couple times a week (It is pretty entertaining). However, I'm not sure I want any boots he is recommending cause he is pretty much a sissy boy.
I have 3 pair of their boots. They are a lot less expensive than the boots I normally wear with my suits. I don't know if any other quality handmade brand that I can get a pair of lizard boots for $325 or ostrich for less than $400.

I would too if I was wearing them to do anything outside. They are not work boots. A quality pair of Allen Edmond dress shoes cost as much or more than the boots I wear.

Agreed. They are dress boots. I have a pair of their black lizard boots that are 1/4 of the price of a Lucchese comparable. Companies are taking this model in every market. Take for example Tract or Maven optics. "High quality product, direct to consumer prices." Nothing to unique here.
Had a pair of elephant skin Tony Lamas back in the 80’s for biker boots. You couldn’t scuff them if you tried and I did lasted for 3 resoles. Got’em on clearance cause of all the save the elephants stuff going on at the time. Wear $100 Arriats now and moan about that price.
