I’m ready to be in a tree. I hope October isn’t as hot as it was last year. I want to do some early season Bow hunting.

Same here . Can't get here soon enough. I've been at my new club before daylight the last 2 Saturdays doing some scouting. I've never been on an out of state hunt but I'm going somewhere in Kentucky to do an archery hunt in September.

Same here. Got a couple shooting houses to repair from some storms last year and move a few lock ons. When I get in from work. Also spraying and tilling up food plots to plant in Sept.

Agreed! With all of the craziness going on, some time in the woods is over due.

I dont think I ever lost the itch, been feeding and doing mineral sites. I have had cams out for nearly a month. Got some good looking deer and fawns already on the ground.

This happens to me every year. Once we hit July and I put trail cams out, I can’t wait for it to get here. Can’t beat sitting in a tree with a bow in my hand.

I'm not sure why, but I can't seem to get myself psyched up for deer season this year. Hell, I've got 4 cameras sitting in a backpack that I've been meaning to put out at the club for a month and I just haven't done it. I don't know what it is but I hope I shake the funk soon.

Just put out cams Saturday on my property here in SC. Going to give it a couple of weeks then pull em and see if I have anything worth going after when season opens next month. If not I’ll likely keep on fishing and waiting until October when things cool down to an acceptable level. I’m excited for season to get here but it’s gonna have to get down below 80 degrees before I get serious about it.

I've never in my life felt this way before but I do now. I am excited for fall but not necessarily for the actual deer season. I have kind of got my mind on a couple of other projects that I have been looking forward to for a very long time and that has kind of replaced my "itch" for deer season.
