Anyone in the market for one ? Check this to. Pretty good price plus 10% off. This thing is a copy of A Native Slayer 13 about $1000 cheaper.

I think the guy in Mobile sells those. I looked at them and will probably be my next purchase. Nice kayak for the money. He also has a rebranded Sea Ghost Vibe 130 that's nice.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Have not looked at prices in a long time. Those things (all yaks)are expensive.

I've had good luck with facebook marketplace and craigslist. I got my main two gulf fishing kayaks used for well under half of what they would have been new. Be patient and look around. Deals are out there, especially late summer at the end of the recreational year.

You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

I've picked up a couple kayaks to have as "spares", in case I take someone with me that doesn't have one, but the next one I get for me will be a pedal kayak, propeller rather than fins.

The 3 waters big fish, old town too water, perception pescador and crank series are all In that price range...there is also the pelican pdl model with their version of hobbies mirage drive now that it's off patent. There is a company called mako that's building Chinese pdl kayaks for around $900...but...you get what you pay for and their reviews are iffy...tho being compared to a native Titan or a Hobie pro angler isn't exactly fair...but their price difference is quiet significant.

I considered a Hobie, but their no instant reverse didn't appeal to me. To be honest I was only gonna get a paddle yak, but when I crossed paths with my Native for $1000 less than a new one, I couldn't pass it up. it was only 6-12 months old. I just think it would be too hard to fish with a paddle in one hand. I found mine on Facebook market place.

Before I bought I did a lot of reading, I noticed that Hobie fins seem to get damaged easily. plus the lack of instant reverse turned me off. Replacement fins aren't cheap either. one more point. My drive unit(pedals is cast iron or Aluminum)I just don't know how much I could trust or depend on a plastic drive unit. It seems heat could damage a plastic one. While they are lighter and cost less, I wouldn't want one. I think Jackson's are plastic.

one more thing. The day I paid the guy for mine as soon as he dropped it off and got his cash, he was gone. No bill of sale or anything. I can't register mine without one. Make sure you get a bill of sale.

The instant reverse option is why I'll have one like yours, rather than a Hobie or a Pelican HD...and I really like the Pelican kayaks, too!

Hobie has reverse now....not exactly instant...but it's Hobie...so it will be of a robust design.

Not really, To get reverse you pull a plastic cable. They can't get them robust enough not to break after a couple of months. I have a buddy that hates his and is tired of buying replacement cables.
