i did a search in this forum & didn't find a hit - but searching on here seems to be a little flaky, so I apologize if this is a repeat Q - pls point me to a thread if so ...
curious about thoughts/opinions on this rod brand for bass fishing ... seems like their Colt & Fury bass rod lines get a lot of raves reviews ...
thx in advance! BGD

Tip for using the search feature... In the Keyword Search Terms block, enter whatever it is your searching for (in this case, Dobyns). Then in the Date Range section, next to the Newer than line, delete the 1 and click the drop down arrow and click the blank area in the DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS, YEARS selection block.

I have 4 of the Fury series and completely love them. I believe they are the best rod under $150 on the planet.
I've got a 703C, 704C, 733C, and 734C. I actually like the 703 best of all, it's the perfect skipping rod.

I got a couple of furys, a Colt, a champion, and a kaden. Best rods for money I’ve used. Not to mention if you have a question you can call Gary up and tell him what you wanna do and he’ll recommend the rod. He got me on the kaden and it’s perfect. Great customer service

Nothing wrong with dobyn rods but for the money you won’t find a better rod than a hammer rod. You know I've never fished with one. I've handled them in the store, and they sure feel good!

thx for the replies, guys - all confirming what i suspected - will certainly be checking into/getting a Dobyns rod as soon as I can ... unfortunately no dealers in Tuscaloosa -- but that's Ok

Going on the website, tackle trap doesn't handle the Fury line.
