I don't have anything really cool to add. I got a piece of chert rock out of my knee when I was in my early 30's. It was from a stunt jump attempt gone bad on my Huffy bicycle when I was about 13.

I figure something from the turkey got pushed into the cut and it's gotta come out. I've shown it to 2 doctors, but they weren't interested. Looks like I gotta do it myself. Getting home surgery advise on aldeer seems like a good idea, so thanks in advance for any technical info on how to cut out turkey feathers.

Prob cut a tendon or ligament...i did once and it did that for a year or 2...i went to doctor a year later n he said i shouldve came in when it happened...

I agree with JB here. I cut a tendon in line (split it down the middle but didn't sever it) in my left pointer and eventually went to a doc because something felt hard and I thought I had something stuck in there and I could barely bend it. A little occupational therapy where they forced that tendon to stretch back out got me back and running almost like new. But dadgum they did some things that probably ought to be illegal to my poor hand.

Pencil lead must be a common thing. I got a piece in my left thigh from the second grade.

At least pencil lead is actually graphite and not real lead.

This is such a fantastically redneck story!
