Wind still howling here, been 20 to 30 mph all afternoon.
I haven't been to the corn field today. I hope it's still standing

You can sneeze on P&C and it'll fall over. That's why I don't plant it anymore. Sweet G90 for me.

That's racist.

Looks like when we would land in the corn fields in Afghanistan. Nothing like winning hearts and minds by destroying the crop that you convinced them to grow.

This is my go to variety. I tried the Pursuit RR Triplesweet and the Sv9010 RR and I am very impressed with both. Made some large full ears and every bit as good as the obsession. Not a single worm or any sign of worm damage in the Pursuit and only a handful of ears in the 9010 had a little damage right at the tip. I also plant some Aspire 2 about a week ago. Planted this variety 2 years ago and is a very sweet variety that makes great cream corn. It’s a triplesweet variety also. I’m also trying a conventional variety called Temptress that is a quad sweet variety and supposed to hold well for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. I will not be testing this as I always process the corn as soon as I pick it. I also planted a small patch of silver queen and I broke a couple ears and ate them. That was the only ears I picked. I let the coons have it. There was no comparison to these varieties. Only complaint I have about obsession 2 is I wish the ears were as big as my arm.
