He doesn’t want this used to further the divide the country Definitely his decision, and i respect that, but i disagree, that video could possibly help save someone else from a similar attack.. I assume that's the reason for this thread, so we'd all know what happened, and be aware of our surroundings...... So the guy that got stabbed also took and owns the video? I agree with Outback and James on this one, need to show what savages they are every chance we can. No but the guy who got HURT in the video doesn’t want it distributed. Therefor I’ll respect his wishes and I would ask that if you get a copy of the video that you do the same. I feel the same as y’all do, but I respect his decision and applaud the thought behind it. We need to come back together as a nation. Not splinter further apart.

The 21 Foot Rule stems from the idea that by the time an officer or individual determines a deadly threat, draws his or her firearm and places two shots, an attacker has closed up to 21 feet between them, therefore reinforcing the idea that one should have their handgun drawn and ready to engage a target if they’re within that distance and approaching with a weapon, like a knife..

Some things you just can't forget. We're still friends, though.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Simply put, a knife will kill you within 21 feet unless you already have you gun drawn. then you'd better not hesitate.

Not really a rule anymore. 21 feet is a guideline as some have closed the gap from further out and stabbed or cut folks. I’m alert if I see a blade within 30 feet. Be safe.

It's serious and not to make light of the Tueller but I was scoffed at for "stabbing"(with a paper towel roll) some Military folks at gunschool when the assistant instructor in Marine speak loudly pointed out how it would look a civilian who whipped Aneroxia stabbed a member of service.

I wish we could come back together but I'm not optimistic about it.
