the fnl picked up some Angus usda choice from Thomasville a few weeks ago and they were some count. Fast forward to yesterday, my mother picked up some from the neighborhood market walley world (choice angus also) and that ribeye rivaled any steak I've had the last year at premium steak joints. The marbling in those steaks we phenomenal! I figured they must've been destined for Sam's and got lost on the way 😂

I've seen some really good looking steaks at our grocery store lately too. I guess the really good stuff that was slated for restaurants is going to the grocery stores now.

The choice steaks at wal mart are good,they have some nice bone in ribeyes at ours in monroeville,don’t buy the steaks packed in the white styrofoam treys though. Yes! The white Styrofoam is a lower grade beef and are hit or miss. The steaks in the black Styrofoam have been as consistent in quality as you could possibly ask for. I eat them all the time. WM has upped their game in the meat dept. They used to look like someone cut them up with a bush axe! I think they have build a huge meat processing plant in GA.
