1shot 8 point 1 Joined: Feb 2015 Posts: 1,387 Chelsea	I’ve used several brands cheap stuff to top shelf top two in my opinion in both reliability and functionality would be IR or Quincy. You really need a lot of volume to run big stuff and gas stuff normally means small tanks so you need a engine and compressor that’ll keep up. Nowadays we outfit all our service tucks with hydraulic driven screw or “rotary” compressors and I’ve yet to find an air tool that they wouldn’t run at 100% duty cycle.

Edited to say that Milwaukee makes a fine impact battery power as others said. The only time I don't use one is having to multiply torque and I work on some big stuff. Bar270 8 point Joined: Nov 2014 Posts: 2,369 Marshall county	I can tell u from experience the harbor freight gas compressor will run with any gas compressor with a 30 gallon tank u can buy and I could probably send u a video of one that is about 3 years old and never had anything done to it ... and I will say that is the only thing harbor freight sells that is any good Cat doctor
