Anyone received a Visa card from the gubmint? I had assumed that my wife and I were above the level of income to receive any stimulus money. I haven't gotten anything yet but got an envelope in the mail today with a Visa card in it and it says it's stimulus money. I'm thinking it's a scam all the way but my wife wanted me to call the number on the paperwork, so I did. If I really got the amount of money that they recording said I did, then I'm tickled to get it. But, I still think it's some sort of scam because even if I got some stimulus money I don't think it would be near the amount the recording said.

It’s an white unmarked envelope. We didn’t get one friend did his wife almost threw it away as jjunk mail. Friend is going to ask his tax man and bank tomorrow . I’d say take it to your local bank and ask them

My wife and I are not wealthy, I mean for crying out loud, she's a school teacher. We doing alright since I'm a wealthy business owner. There is NO way that people with a combined income of what we make should get a chunk of change like this. Our grandkids will be paying for all this payout.

And no, I'm not sending it back. It slightly offsets the amount I paid in for all you people who get tax refunds.

If I remember correct if your combined adjusted gross income was $150,000 or less then you get the whole $2,400; it gets reduced approximately $50 per $1,000 over that amount. You also get $500 per dependent child under 17.

We received one in the mail yesterday as well.. it was a welcomed surprise to say the least..

I got one last week with $30 something dollars on it. I can’t remember if it was $34 or $37. I gave it to my son.

Go spend it. Even cover existing bills and save the money projected for those bills. They "CANT" make you spend it, so to speak. For you personally, its best to save...I say that as I saved it but the point here is to spend it to help the economy.

Save it and use it to pay your taxes next year. You know... Circle of Life and all that stuff...

I've already spent mine on women and whiskey. I'd hate to waste it on taxes.

I'm the same way, didn't get anything. I was really surprised this week when the Community College here sent my Son a check for 850 bucks, they said it was for the hardship of on line classes etc. He questioned it all the way to the bank for savings and I'm sure another dang golf club.

All i can say is congratrs. I'm glad working Americans got something this time instead of giving to the unproductive as usual.
