It is amazing to me how "high Tech" the instrumentation/dashboard is compared to the old shuttle.

They just had a show on last night about them. it showed the un maned test flight going and docking with the space station. The biggest rocket that drops off first will actually come back to earth and lands on a platform at sea. Before they just crashed into the ocean to be lost.

It is amazing to me how "high Tech" the instrumentation/dashboard is compared to the old shuttle. To put it in perspective, old systems had countless buttons and switches with astronauts literally using a stick to reach the distant ones.
