I do my package labeling and shipping online. Just drop it off at the post office. I used to ship knives over seas and always referred to them as bushcraft tools.

I'm trying to figure out what is worse? UPS delivering to two of our neighbors while we watch out the window and then say they couldn't deliver my package because we were not home or Fed EX delivering a package at 11PM at night? Both of these happened to me in the past week.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I think y'all are being a little harsh. These delivery services were not prepared for the landslide of online orders from millions of stupid people who bought into the whole Coronacircus, hook line and sinker. Millions of people, out of work, getting paid more money than they ever made when working. Millions of people who were told not to worry about paying their bills, cause "its a crisis" and instead they heard, "let's blow all this free money".
***now, I'll have to agree with jawbone, that 11pm delivery might get somebody greeted with my 12 guage.

I ordered something and it was shipped via fedex with an estimated delivery date of Tuesday. On tidal night it was sitting in dothan and stayed at the warehouse until it was delivered tuesday. No big deal because I didn’t need it but it was crazy that it sat in dothan for three days.

Not anymore. The Tuscaloosa FedEx hub is a total cluster F&$K!! If you call them, thy say "yeah, it's here somewhere".
I have been waiting on my butcher box full of meet.
Well, guess what. Their tracking said they didn't even make an attempt yesterday.
It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't perishable and 80 degrees out side

I had two trailer tires show up at the Tuscaloosa FedEx hub two weeks ago today per tracking. For the next week and a half they went back and for between “out for delivery by end of day” and “delivery exception.” Contacted the seller on a Monday and had new tires delivered by UPS 2 days later. FedEx is a complete mess in Tuscaloosa.

My tracking# still shows my little package sitting at Sommerville AL post Office. Been there since Thursday evening.

It's hit or miss with all of them. I've honestly found USPS to be the most consistent on time or even early lately.

I ordered something off ebay Tuesday night, with a guaranteed delivery date of today. It shipped from Redding, CA via USPS on Wednesday, and delivered to me yesterday....one day early.

Fedex is generally pretty much on time for me too.

I've had more "shipping exceptions" with UPS than any of them, and they will absolutely DESTROY packages. I ordered some new windshield wiper blades a month ago from Amazon, and they shipped UPS....separately. One of them arrived bent at a 90 degree angle...box and all. I've had many packages arrive from UPS absolutely destroyed...and they still leave it like nothing ever happened when the box was demolished. They just don't seem to give a crap at all.

Yeah, the USPS had been the most reliable here too...Until today. Waiting on hardware to replace the bunks on my boat trailer - had planned to do it tomorrow afternoon - but it wont be happening.
The delivery date was today. Mail just ran and nothing...Now tracking shows "running late"...

I have tools and parts that were supposed to be here today too. They didn't show either.
Makes it hard to give customers a completion date when you're at the mercy of someone else.

UPS has been pretty consistent and reliable through all of this coronacircus.
I'm scared to brag on them though, out of fear I'll jinx it.
You're right though, they will destroy a box and the contents

Well, I checked my tracking# just now. After sitting at the Sommerville PO since Thursday evening it is now BACK in Birmingham where it was before being sent to Sommerville. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get it sometime this week.

You can count on the usps to phuck up your shipping, they have mine on every single item that has free shipping on it,, hey that’s why it’s free right?? Them sumbiches should pay folks to let them handle their shipping for them,, useless imo.

Glad you're getting your order replaced. My little part has 'departed' Birmingham AGAIN. No clue where it's headed this time.

I bought my son a weight bench from walmart, it came with over 100lb of weight. It was $69 free shipping. Walmart distribution is about 20min from my house. They sent a weightbench from california. It went to ellenwood georgia, then to somewhere in tennessee then back to ogdon utah. It was returned to the factory in ogdon utah. That sucker went 5000mi and got within 20min of our house twice. All for free. I ended up going to walmart in oneonta, 20min away to get one after walmart.com did a refund. How do you ship something that weighs 150lb 5000 miles for free and come out on it?
