Looking good CC.
Free Candy. That was hilarious.

The man got talent. Looking good! Sho do. It takes some vision to jump on a project like that and pull off what he has.

Carbon Climber got mad skills. I’ve actually stood around and watched him work on occasion. That boy don’t let no grass grow. I am pretty good by the way at standing around and watching folks work. I can hand em tools or something but it interrupts the cadence of my story telling and I try not to do it.

With all that barnwood, you need to add tandem axles.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

With all that barnwood, you need to add tandem axles. I'm tryin to work me up a deal on a camper that got blowed off the frame in the Nader's...got some fancy alloys on it. It's just pallet wood I got off the side of the road...it should be lighter than it was before hand...that fiberglass showed weighed about 200lbs... Plus cabinets an other framed garbage. I think my weight will be ok..but I'm a touch top heavy I think...I'm Workin on it tho. If anybody has a set of good tandem Axel's they'd like to get rid of, if they will fit..id be interested.

With all that barnwood, you need to add tandem axles. There's more than one reason they use paneling. Not to mention the need for insulation. That thing is gonna weigh a ton more than new weight. How Long is it? Now that you've got a closet on wheels for your gear. Where are you gonna stay ? Consider an Awning you raise and place legs under when parked. seriously, I had an 18' camper for hunting. once i got my gear inside, thetre was very little room to move around ! Better watch for 5 or 6 spares. I see several blow outs in your future.

Nice! My money is the doekiller represented one of the previous owners at some point. I think that camper was offered to both me and doekiller at one time in Marengo county. That is nicer than what we were offered.

Very nice restoration! It will be heavy, but I would guess you are gonna pull it somewhere and leave it, so it really won't matter.
It reminds me of one that my father made in the early 60s from an old truck bed and axle. It certainly looked homemade, but we used it on a lot of fishing trips and it sure beat sleeping on the ground. He left it on Cedar Creek for several years and we used it for both hunting and fishing in those years. It didn't have heat, and certainly didn't have AC, but we were tougher in those days. He eventually sold it, but somehow I still have the 50 gallon water tank that was on it.
