Anyone recommend a good affordable charter out of orange beach/gulf shores? Me and my father in law and 2 others are looking to make a trip here in the future.

May not have killed anything, but always a good time

Umm, fairwater II charters used to be a sponsor here, i thought? Anyways, we went on one of their near shore, 4hr trips a couple years ago. Good trip outside of all the “seasons”. Caught a bunch of spanish. They do offshore also.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Captjab has a great boat at Zekes. Aquastar. If you don't want to charter swing by Zeke's office and ask for a walk on. It's not a head boat type trip. You share a boat with other folks. A 6 hour trip is great. You can do morning or afternoon. Been on a bunch and never had a bad trip.

Capt. Mike Rowell and The Annie Girl are another option if you aren’t able to find what you’re looking for. His Resmondo is setup for 8-10 anglers ideally so with a group of 4 your rates would be slightly higher per person or you could fish with another group like TC mentioned above to keep your costs down.

Yessir! I’m always gonna shoot what makes me happy and I want everyone else to do the same! If you shoot one be proud of it and don’t worry what anyone else thinks. - SJ22

Capt. Lance Powers is a great guy for Red Snapper, I know he does other fish but we have used him for the past 3 years for them and I caught a 29lb Red Snapper last year. I think he takes up to 6 out at a time so your group would be no problem. He's about 25 minutes away from Orange Beach to Pensacola

Thanks guys, he booked us a trip may 26-27. I’ll have to ask him again who he booked but it sounded pretty good.

For goodness sake... it’s “offshore fishing” not deep sea. 😁

I prefer "deep sea fishing" myself.
