You'll need 2 chemicals. Clethodim for weeds and grasses and 2-4DB for broadleafs. Be dang sure you get 2-4DB and not 2-4D. Mix it all together for one application.
Some guys use a weak Gly mix as a one-and-done but I never have.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I’d think that the 2,4-dB would kill your chicory as well. Do you know of a broadleaf you can spray on chickory? Ive got about 1/4acre plot of pure chickory that looks good except for the weeds and grass in it. The deer really liked it this winter.

Last year I just sprayed it with cleth and let the broadleafs go.
