We can cook for several people with the 2.5 gallon, but we also have the 4 gallon, and we use it when we have more people. But most time it's only 6 or 7 of us, and the 2.5 gets it done.... JayHook2 4 point J Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 657 South Baldwin	i bought an extra basket for my 2.5 gal saves about a minute or so between cooking. like James said you can do 6-7 people very easy with it. The 4 gal will cook alot of fish and fries fast for 10+..can't go wrong either way
