I doubt wma's or its camp grounds will be closing but state/ federal camp grounds will likely be closing at some point. Similar to the government shutdowns we've been having.

I may need to make a call, I haven't heard anything about the WMAs closing.

Closing WMA’s will be of no consequence as far as I’m concerned...but no way they’re closing them

Yep, closing WMAs would only hurt the honest folks. And I've never met an honest turkey hunter lol

They should just hang Corona Free Zone signs on all the WMA gates so the virus won't come in.

Last I saw from OA app (or was it an email? I forget) was that WMA's would be open as scheduled. Game wardens would be patrolling the state as usual with no alteration in their routine. Hell, I hope so. I can only hunt my spots so much. I may try to join the army of folks on public since as it stands today, I'm gonna have more time off than I know what to do with.

Not only why, but How the hell would you shut down the woods..... just crazy. I’d think there’s No better way to quarantine that being in the wilderness. If they do I guess I’ll just wear my running shoes. laugh

I heard that the conservation advisory board was going to shut down weekday hunting so that those of that are still working would have a fair shot at getting a bird on weekends.
