My wife’s grandmother lives with us...sometime she earns her keep. Fried backstrap, rice, gravy, and biscuits. Full as a tick!

Dude, when a Granny cooks, it’s on another level.

I know you didn't mean it this way, but I'll say it anyway.

She earned her keep a long time ago.
What a Blessing for you both for her to be able to live with you.

Looks good!

God Bless,
David B.

. Depends on what age the granny is.

The meal looks delicious. Nothing like a Granny's cooking. Gotta get her a longer apron....She still got a little flower dusting. Ha!

Davy, you got a point but I contend that a grandmother and a Granny are light years apart. Granny's can cook like a Granny. Grandmothers, maybe not so much.

me too.... do you egg wash yours? Had a lot of folks tell me to egg wash it with eggs and Italian dressing mixed then dip it in flour before it hits the grease.

I've seen people dredge in unseasoned flour, egg wash, then dredge again in the seasoned flour too and it work.

Any meal cooked by a woman in her Sunday dress with an apron is usually going to be good.....Brings back memories to my grandmothers Sunday dinners......
