I wonder if it could be a reliable turkey gun if I had it threaded to accept chokes? Would be simple to carry. Just a thought. I could see one of those guys using a fan shooting one of these although I’m not into that style of killing.

Had a conversation with a Montgomery GW a couple years ago and mentioned the centerfire handguns for turkeys legality. I jokingly told him that since it said centerfire handguns and since the ATF considers an AR pistol a handgun, that I was going to build me a 10" 223 pistol for those 150yd hung up birds. We didn't really agree on the legality of that loophole and I'm sure that comment made its way up the chain somewhere. Disclaimer I would not actually stoop so low as to shoot a turkey with a rifle caliber

But I'd still not be happy if a guy on a property I hunt took that shot. Those birds need to separate a little more. Good way to end up with 2 in one shot or wound a second bird. I learned my lesson on that several times in my teens before ethics overrode the lust for killing.

Add an SB Tactical "arm" brace and red dot and shoot it like a regular shotgun... As small as some folks are trying to go with turkey guns, I'm surprised no one has done it yet. And I've killed a few dozen with a shotgun, I just don't get the hype. But if I could pop one with a Revolver, say in a .357, .38spcl+p, 327 Federal, or maybe even a 22WMR - now that would interesting.
