What would be a good lure or two start out with over the next couple of weeks as the weather starts warming? I just got access to several ponds and fixing to try em out.

I've got all those. I'll try them all and see what works best next time. I went today but only managed 3 fish in 2 hours time. I used a brown and yellowish rooster tail. I got 3 hits and caught all 3.

I like to have 2 rods ready. Majority of my casts are with a single Colorado blade 3/8oz spinnerbait in black/blue or black/yellow. If I miss a fish follow up with a soft plastic, usually 6in zoom worm: pumpkin seed w/ chartreuse u-tail.

I like a suspending shallow running crank bait in a cold pond.

Red shad worm is my go to for every pond I fish.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
