Sounds like a reasonable price for such a low mileage vehicle.

Difficult to believe it only has 54,000 total miles on it.

6.4 liter diesel, not sure on transmission, leather seats, no bedliner, I didn't really get past the price much

All I've ever had was gas burners. I have 3 right now, 97 F150 with a 4.6L V8 with a manual transmission, 2007 5.4L v8, and my wife has a 2014 with the 5.0

A little scared to go diesel, just cause I really don't have a clue about them.

Those mud grapplers are the quietest tire I’ve ever heard mud grip wise.

If you dont tow heavy weight stick with gas. Diesels are expensive to maintain.

If you need a diesel for work, or hauling toys, then get one. If it’s something you just “want “, then stay with the gas burners. Most folks never work, or run diesels like they are designed to be. Mine seem to run better after towing equipment trailers loaded down pretty heavy. Some guys buy them and never put a hitch in the receiver. I work mine petty hard.
EVERYTHING about diesels cost more. They don’t nickel and dime you to death, but can easily 3 & 4 thousand dollar you out of the warm fuzzy feeling of ownership. A tank of diesel fuel for that big Mardi Gras float will run you just shy of $100.00. Oil change about $125 or so, unless your the one doing it.
If you decide to get it, search every web site you can to find info on how to maintain it. Don’t skimp on oil & filters. Change them all first thing after you buy it.
Use your head and think long and hard before you mod it. Some upgrades are money well spent. Some are money you’ll never benefit from. Learn the difference.
Between my wife & I, we have three diesel pickups. They are great rides but still not perfect. They don’t make good hunting rigs... too front heavy! Some can’t turn around in a big azz field (joke). But my old Ford does take up some room. Lol

If you buy this one, I hope it’s a good one for you.

Thanks for your time and honest opinion. I really should've bought Klay's truck. That's more along the lines of what I need. The 97 is about to be up for sale and the 2007 will probably be my daughter's soon.

You sure don't want a 6.4 Powerstroke to be your first adventure into the diesel world. Those engines are notorious for head gasket problems, oil cooler/egr problems and the worst of all high pressure fuel pump failures that usually takes out the entire engine. If you want a diesel get a 5.9 Cummins or a later 6.7 Powerstroke.

6.4 is without a doubt the biggest pile of crap diesel that ford ever made. Theres a reason they were only around a couple years. They are great when they aren't broke but boy when they break and it will. Break out the money. But that's just my 2 cents.

+1 , I have a 2002 7.3 ,I wouldn't touch a 6.4 or 6.0 look for a 6.7 or 7.3 if you really want a diesel

Same here, I have two diesel vehicles and I wouldn't touch a diesel made after 2002. I have a '99 7.3L and a '82 Mercedes 5cyl turbo (in my FJ40). I can and have worked on both.

I owned a 2010 6.4L and it was nice, but I got rid of it at the right time thank goodness.

I see this truck everyday and think it’s a sharp looking pickup. But the 6.4 is hurting it. I talked to several diesel mechanics before I bought mine and ended up getting the 6.7 and I’m glad I did. I love my truck

The truck is sharp. But I deleted our text back and forth after the comments here. Glad I asked first. Cash was burning a hole.
