I'm picking up my new boat on Wednesday. I'm taking a couple rods and a small assortment of takle with me and I will dunk it in the water somewhere on the way home.

I know a guy that wears bass out every time the lake gets up into people's yards. Y'all be careful if you go. There were whole trees floating down Guntersville yesterday.

I ended up crappie fishing. Did not have a net and hooked the 3 biggest crappie I have ever seen. I bet they were 2.5lbs a piece. One pulled off one shook off as I was handlining him in beside the boat and the third I had in my hand and the jig fell out and I could not flip him in. Did not catch but 6 small ones and lost 3 giants

Fished Limestone Bay today for crappie. Kept 6 caught maybe 20. They were really spread out, caught one or two then found another one and so on. The six I kept were nice, 1 with eggs, none had a full belly.
