bowtarist OP THE Octopus Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 4,700 Pisgah, AL	Got on the water a little late, around 730. I was trying to find a few fish to take my boy to tomorrow. I caught 3 giant white crappie off a little grass bed about the size of a truck hood. I moved on and fished the mouth of the creek I was in and caught the black one. Probably caught 40 stripe before I had to leave. The 4 I caught weighed 7lbs with the biggest being 2.18. I'm gonna hit em at daylight with him and try to load the boat down.

The first thing he told me was if I bought it he had to remember to get out the cards with his fishing spots. I forgot all about it until yesterday, guess what. I've got some new fishing spots.

On the upriver side of the creek there is a large flat as you enter. Those big fish have been stacked in there both trips. I'm not sure if they're Drum or Buffalo, or even something else, but whatever they are the make one heck of a return on the SI units.
