Yeah you see 6-12 cars for the soccer mom who rolls a stop sign and to quote Yogi Berra "You can hear alot by listening." Then you wonder when that show of force rolls up on a scared frightened old boy whose got that 60 round surefire mag in his AR. Remember you don't have to be right in court you just have to be reasonable. I don't condone violence by anyone but we all know the man with authority who runs that mouth learns that lesson that it's all fun and games till the targets start shooting back. Not meaning to be offensive but we all know the bad apple spoils the Barrell.

There's never too many cops when I've needed one; quite the opposite I agree, lawyers on the other hand is a different story. When I lived in Atlanta a whole bunch of tickets got thrown out. Ga troopers had a guy sitting in a mini van beside the highway shooting radar on 85 N, and three or four troopers a mile North writing the tickets. Someone went to court and the judge scolded them because in Ga if you shoot the radar you are also required to write the ticket.

We already got about 33 million more cops than we need. Every town has so many cops that 10 of em show up to write a damn a speeding ticket. Got one car pulled over and it looks like a Las Vegas circus with all the flashing strobes. I think Prattville has 81 police officers. Safety in numbers.

There is a City in La that used to have two officers per city occupant.

Police officer is statistically one of the safest jobs in the country. A power company lineman faces far more dangerous conditions every single day.

There's never too many cops when I've needed one; quite the opposite I've never needed one. Me either. I thought I did, once, but after doing all the detective work myself , giving the bank and the police detectives the name of the person who stole and wrote over $5k worth of bad checks on myself and one of my customers , they did absolutely nothing. They had already arrested him on a different charge and assured me they would call us and put together a case and prosecute him. They never did. Even after we followed up numerous times. Another time our office was broken into and they came out and dusted for finger prints. When we heard nothing back I called only to be told they lost the evidence. Then I was told by another customer, who's husband was on the force, that the person who broke in our office was actually a police officer in a neighboring city and he was trying to destroy something incriminating he'd left on our voice mail. I was there when he broke in and he left without the evidence. I knew once we found out it was a police officer nothing would be done and we dropped it. After those incidents I had two more home break ins over the next few years. My wife (now ex) started to call the police on the first one but I had a strong idea of who it was and told her to hang the phone up. I have never called the police again and I fixed the issue myself in both cases.

if you ask me local PDs should just get funding to enforce interstate speed we really need more marine police especially at martin to keep the idiots in check. I know this is in GA put there are alot more idiots on the water than on the road IMO. they could rack up with dui check points on the lake probably get a 80% rate at stops. hell thinking about it i just came up with a good idea floating dui checkpoints just randomly breathalyze as many people behind the wheel as you can catch up to There should not be speed limit on the interstate. Works fine in Europe. What they should do is stop every son of bitch driving in the left lane and execute them on the spot.

happened here, too, but was caught in short order...can't remember if they had the tests or if one or two were helping the entire class during the test. it was a big stink, but they were re-tested with a newly written test.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

I have no sympathy for them. My 22 year old son who studied his butt off on his own, took and passed the Network+ exam has now done the same thing for months and months and on Friday will take and (Good Lord willing) pass the CCNA. I know how hard he has worked and I know he deserves it.
People who don't do the work don't deserve chit. If you'll cheat on a test with you buddies at the Academy, what kind of dishonest stuff will you do as a sworn officer? God help us all... Preach!
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
