For those that may not know of Uniontown, for a while in the late 80s and early 90s it was, according to the DEA, the crack cocaine distribution hub for the Southeast. They finally broke it up. A lot of arrests including some crooked LE. My wife’s family owned two parts houses/hardware stores there for years and never had any problems. They made good money selling Black Ice air fresheners, the stuff that shines your tires and motor oil by the quart.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

My MNLs Aunt lived there (she may still I'd have to ask) and she was robbed and raped in her home in the late 80s i believe it was

Where did you shop before Publix expanded out of Florida? It is so amusing to me that Alabama folks love Publix. I’ve got 5 within a 2 mile radius in S. FL. rofl

Same here! Publix has nice produce but they are expensive. Very rarely do I shop at Publix.

If you have followed my work adventures across this great state over the past few years, then you will know why I mentioned Publix. Has zero to do with anything on the shelvesgrin
When you are in a tough spot, Publix always delivers.

We live 16 miles from Publix, 16 miles to Wal Mart and 16 miles to Winn Dixie.

And that is very useful information to know as I age.
