This impeachment trial has started. The Congress lost their attempt to control the Senate. I pray they get this over and Congress starts doing their jobs. I mainly hope they find an avenue to put the Liar Shiff and Pelosi in PRISON for putting our Country thru this. To be honest this scares me, Trump is at the mercy of the swamp. Pelosi & the swamp held the articles & are pushing for more witnesses to create a long slow process in the senate to prevent Bernie & Warren from being able to campaign. This will ensure that Biden wins the democrat primary. Just like last time when HIllary and the DNC stole the election from Bernie by using super delegates, they are working to steal it again. Why would democrat voters allow this to happen again?

I've never been one to write senators, Maybe this would be a good time to start. I believe you are right about Paul. He does have some kooky ideas sometimes, But he is a man of principle, and wants the good of the country above his own good, while most of them are there to drain money in any way possible.

Good question. Never thought about it. Maybe someone can give us an answer.

Since terms of Congress are enumerated in the Constitution, any limitations put in place by Executive Order would be a very, very slippery slope to start down. Well, start down is a misleading term since other presidents have issued executive orders that limited other items mentioned in the Constitution.

Can it be done? Probably yes for awhile until it winds through the court system to finally be ruled unconstitutional. Should it be done? Probably not through executive order.

As suggested in a previous post, I contacted Senator Paul. The response from his office was that he represented the people of Kentucky, and that I should contact the Senators and Representatives of Alabama. I am confident that retiring Senator Shelby ( been in Washington since 1986 ) would be thrilled to introduce a term limit bill as part of his legacy...........

Contact senator Shelby and convince him that this should be his legacy. He's retiring so he won't care.
