Our plan changed this year to add a $100 bi-weekly spousal surcharge if the spouse declines the insurance offered by their employer. So it’s either have separate insurance policies or pay more to be on the same.

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

We got a 1-2% COLA raise this year and a 1-2% Health Insurance Raise this year. See how that works. I would hate to be the honest guy that figures that out and implements it.

I remember BC/BS sending out paperwork to fill out wanting to know if your spouse had insurance with their job( if I remember correctly). Something about they couldn't be doubled covered. I threw mine in the trash. Also since my wife has insurance they her work, it's not great I dropped her off mine and save about 1500.00 a year on premiums. I am on BCBS from my previous employer as a retiree. My wife is on the BCBS Peehip family plan which used to include me also. then they wanted to surcharge me $100/mo to stay on hers. That was nice to not have any co-pays but we dropped me from her plan. In the end, my coverage is better than the Peehip anyways.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Same thing was implemented where I work.
My wife dropped off my plan and has her own insurance through her work now.
The Spousal Surcharge was $75.00 bi-weekly.

So basically they should have just informed you that you aren’t getting a damn thing this year and left it at that. At least that you could respect them for having the balls to inform you that way. And not playing a numbers shell game with you

Lets not forget the war hero john mccain Mr. 👎 Never forget that democrat bastard.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
