Who represents some of y'all in North Alabama seems to be the king of feel good but unnecessary bills and laws. Now he want to protect Churches. They are already protected the same as any other private property.
The bill proposes that church members can use deadly force to defend themselves, and would be presumed justified if they believe someone is about to harm people in attendance at a church.
That is already the law. It is the same in a Church, in your house, or on the street. If you reasonably believe someone is about potentially harm you or anyone else, anywhere, any time, but not to defend themselves from you, Deadly Force is justified.
He's just pandering for votes, but he is still better than the crook Roger Bedford, whom I believed he replaced.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It's a back handed way of establishing government control.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

If he replaced Bedford, he learned from the best. No kidding. What a scumbag he was.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

If he replaced Bedford, he learned from the best. Bedford was one of the biggest crooks to ever walk in the capitol.

It could be exactly the way you guy say or it could be a way to protect the good guy shooter in the event that someone is killed in the crossfire. I’m just thinking aloud I haven’t ready anything about it

Reminds me of the open carry law. Totally useless and unnecessary. Just a bullschit move to pander votes.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I’m just thinking aloud I haven’t ready anything about it From what I understand the bill will/suppose to protect you from being held liable from others that were present when the shooting occurred. Example: Ms Betty is suing the good guy because she claims she has suffered from extreme hearing loss from the shooting. Or PTSD and many others that trail lawyers can come up. You would think that when you save someone's life from the possibility of being killed they wouldn't sue you. But we know better than that.

Yep a politician trying to mislead the flock.
I’ve never had anything against Bedford UNTIL this past summer. He owes me money and he’s gonna pay, his choice, a pound of gold or a pound of flesh...

Just wondering if this would fall under the Good Samaritan law?
