Thomas is hard to beat. If you go to them get some black and blue burger and bologna. You'll thank me later

Funny story about that place. Was visiting Joel Stone one afternoon at his shop. Guys came in with 2 elks and was looking for a place to have processed. I told them about the Smokehouse. A week later me and buddy of mine killed a couple of deer. We deboned the hind quarters to get out of paying the deboning fee. Mrs Mary said they wouldn't accept the deer. I said did you get two elks in last week? She said " how'd you know about that?". I told her we sent those guys down there. She took our deer, said they processed 1100 pounds of elk meat.

Game cutters. Exit 1 off 459. Past Mccadory High. Been using them for over 20 years.

Definitely go here. It’s back behind Lowe’s. Thomas does a damn jam up job. Keeps it clean and actually lets the meat hang in the cooler with your name on it so you don’t get some gutshot found 3 days later deer.

The Chopping Block is now Trails End 2 (well off Exit 97). The first Trails End is over in Bessemer (Exit 112).

Agree with this. I also used Trails End last year and was very pleased with them (and several other guys I was hunting with had same results).
