I have a 6x24x50 V4 conquest. Good scope which tracks well with the turret. Good, but not Alpha level glass for lowlight, clarity is good. No complaints but I think there may be better options in the same price range, maybe the Leupold VX5 line. Swarovski Z5 scopes have better lowlight performance, but they cost a little more.

In the price range of that scope, I think I would prefer a Swarovski Z5 3.5x18 or 5x25 for a hunting rifle.

In the price range of that scope, I think I would prefer a Swarovski Z5 3.5x18 or 5x25 for a hunting rifle. Agreed. I ran a Z3 for years on my deer rifle and can’t remember looking down another scope that I thought looked better. That said I’m in the process of mounting a Nightforce SHV on a new .300WM and I’m pretty excited about how it looks/feels. I have some friends that have only used Zeiss ever and they’re not putting anything else on their gun. Committing to spending over $1k for a scope makes it hard not to end up with quality glass.

My conquest v4 6-24x50 is every bit as good as my Z5.
I wouldn't hesitate.
