It was too cold to try and post this morning; I was set up next to an old cutover. It was in the mid 20’s and the wind was bitter cold with a damp feel coming out of the NE and the West. Between my nose constantly sniffing and my continually moving I didn’t figure I would see anything. I had three new bucks show up on my trail cameras on the 6th with daylight photos at 9:30 so I figured on sitting until that time. Just before 8:30 I caught movement in the wood line off to my right, when I saw that it was one of the new bucks I grabbed my bow. He walked right in without any hesitation to 25 yds at which point I drilled him through the lungs.
