Another thing millennials can't do. If you start to notice the music on commercials, movies and just about everything is rock bands from 70's, 80's, and 90's. Name one great band made up with millennials.

Never heard of the first three, but I like Idk Perch, especially their new single, Assgoblins Beware.

5 Finger Death Punch are really good, but the music they put out, that I like......are all remakes.

If you think theres no good music being made anymore, you probably only listen to FM radio....and very little good music gets played on FM radio anymore.

Truth. And nothing like Aerosmith. They have been making music since my daddy's hard on.

Some good ones mentioned above (Greta Van Fleet & Gary Clark). Three that come to mind that I like are Glorious Sons, The Revivalists, & The Record Company.

Music is like the rest of America... Corporate.

There is no premium on actual talent. They put as much emphasis on these new performers image, hair makeup, sleeve tats and a dude's earing as they do on their actual musical talent.

I've been waiting on a Rebellion to take place but it's been a long time coming.

Are you sure Hank done it this a way?

No he didn't.

Rock N Roll and Country both need a rebellion from a Radio perspective. There is good music being made you just have to find it which is hard for the average guy that's not into music..

The other problem is the music on the club scene is nothing like it use to be for Rock N Roll. All those big clubs in Jersey and places in LA like the Whiskey a Go Go they are not generating what you are looking for if you are looking for hair bands.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

In my opinion, what really sets a good band/musician apart from the crappy ones is the live performance. Most of the newer, mainstream acts just cannot reproduce, live, what they do in the studio. They're so hell-bent on making everything "perfect" and they rely so heavily on technology to "fix" stuff in the studio, that it simply cannot be reproduced live.

I know I talk about the Foo Fighters a lot, but you know why they're arguably the greatest Rock n Roll band in the world right now? It's because what you hear at a live show is the same as what you hear on the album. And they're able to do that because they don't use stuff like Pro Tools, auto-tune, etc. Hell, they record on tape, like bands did "back in the day". And because they're recording on tape, there is no "fixing" stuff during the recording process, which means they HAVE to be really good musicians to begin with. If you want proof, listen to the studio version of the "Wasting Light" album, then watch them perform the entire album, start to finish, LIVE, in their studio. The two are nearly indistinguishable.
