I did the math today on Folgers in a regular coffee maker. 2.6 cents per cup. Pretty impressive. Impressive, until you realize how chitty Folgers coffee is... It's coffee, you drink it hot and has caffeine in it. I'm not sure what more you could want

Any container that you put water in and never use it will get mold in it. I've had my Keurig for several years and have never had any mold or bugs in it. The only thing Ive ever gotten out of it was a good cup of coffee. When it tells you to change the filter and to descale it you do it...just a part of proper maintenance as any machine would require Same here. No issues just good coffee.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

I've drank Folgers and Maxwell House from a Mr. Coffee for so long that anything else just doesn't taste good. I guess it's like the BBQ joint one grew up with that is a local favorite.....everyone says it's good. Then an outsider try's it and it's meh. I get up and drink 2-3 cups in the morning and take a thermos to work. All them k-cups would be an expensive PITA.

I think Folgers is about as good as coffee gets myself Me too. Been using folgers for years. Great coffee. And I use a plain ol coffee maker.

I liberated myself from the Keurig. Terrible coffee.... and cost me a lot when you drink about 6 cups for people like myself. I cut the office's coffee bill in 1/3 and once we went back to a coffee pot everyone is raving about how much better the coffee is.
We got hoodwinked into that just like everyone else because for the convenience.
Coffee pot at work is a Bunn and takes the filter packs and cleans up probably faster than you can throw 85 K Cups (at $1.50 a piece) away to make the same amount of coffee.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I don't care for regular Folgers but their 100% Colombian is good stuff without being stupid expensive.

If you think Folgers and Maxwell House is the best coffee out there then you're missing out. I didn't say it was the best. But I don't feel cheated, by drinking folgers. Hell, it's just used to cut my bourbon anyway.
