I have a Millenium tree seat. Paid $10 at a yard sale.

Get the Millennium 300
It’s light very fast and quite setting up
add a bad boy gel cushion and you
can sit still and hunt long sits .
Comfort is priceless!

I used to carry the top half of a climber. Just put it on the tree and my feet on the ground. Leaving the bottom part behind lightens the load considerably.

I’ve done that too. Works great, and provides a place to lay the rifle as well as a shooting prop.

If I’m hunting on the ground, I take a turkey seat cushion. I want to be hands free. I stand as much as I sit.

Just buy a $25 turkey chair like others have said. You won’t get anymore comfortable. I never use one during turkey season but they’re a comfortable, portable, lightweight option for deer hunting from the ground.

Does anybody else think a tree seat and a ghost blind would be a good setup for getting deep into a WMA in a light quiet way?
