My granddaughter which is 5 ,her mom and grandma were trick or treating last nite and a drunk drive smashed into them. They were all taken to erlanger. The grandma had a pretty good case of whiplash but the baby and mom were ok. Thank God. Anyway the drunk ran from the scene on foot. They still haven't found the moron. They know who he is obviously by the car. My question why would anyone be that stupid as to drive like that when so many kids are out.

Hate to hear that happen to them. Glad it was not worse. My Mother in Law was killed almost a year ago by a drunk driver. Ran into the back of her car. Drunk driver was able to run away. His car was full of beer cans and smelled like a brewery. My wife has really struggled with why. And the fact that he ran and did not try to help her.

A whiplash is painful. I got one about 15 years ago when I t-bones a Tahoe that pulled out in front of me and it hurts all the time.

Because they think they can still drive safely. My younger brother was charged 3 times, convicted twice on DUI. Ironically, he was killed by a texting teenage driver.

Sorry to hear that. Now LEO's will have to prove he was actually driving to charge him. Thinking it will be difficult.

And drinking. Even if they can prove he left a accident with injuries l, proving the DUI will be nearly impossible.

All DUI's should be automatic loss of license 1st offense with 5 years jail time
Then if you get a second should serve hard time 25 years of picking up trash on side of the road,
I lost my grandmother and aunt because a idiot was drunk at 11am in the morning
