Never had a problem with the Optilock rings but I’m leaning towards a picatinny rail and Burris XTR’s on my next one. What’s your favorite scope mount for Sako 75/85?

Yessir! I’m always gonna shoot what makes me happy and I want everyone else to do the same! If you shoot one be proud of it and don’t worry what anyone else thinks. - SJ22

Talley Lightweights on almost everything that I own. If I do a Picatinny rail, then either Seekins or Vortex rings.
Maybe I’ve overlooked them but I wasn’t aware they made a Talley LW for the Sako 75/85 dovetail. I know they make Talley steel bases and vertical split rings for those rifles. I have the Leopold's on all 3 (was 4 sold one) of mine I’ve got Leupold rings on the Finnlight I acquired from 257 but until last night I didn’t know what kind of bases that were used and turns out they were Redfield. Those are a really clean looking setup. They look similar to Conetrol rings/bases. Very interesting.
