I haven’t really got to scan the trees on our lease, but what I have checked look to be bare for a second year in a row. We didn’t have any acorns last season. And all of our fields will probably be dead

Few Red oaks.Thats about it.

Have found a few red and white oak bearing acorns on our lease (Central AL). Weather plays a factor but every oak has its own tendencies. Some drop every year, some every other year, etc. Some oaks bear little fruit in drought years, some oaks overcompensate and bust out a bumper crop of acorns.

From what I’ve seen water oak and red oak are clustered up real good. White oaks are spotty.

Same for Northeast MS

Got a few white oaks dropping at my place by hamilton, but at my dads place in Boaz they are all dropping

I'm in a new club in Rockford this season. Our lease
Is mostly hardwoods, acorns are loaded.
I went scouting this afternoon
White oaks are already dropping good.
The deer are hammering them, can't wait to next
Tuesday.
