wish I was there right now If I didn't have family commitments I'd be living there right now. When that super volcano erupts, the best place to be is ground zero
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

.. I loved Yellowstone, but loved the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole even more... same. took dad out for the rodeo in Cheyenne, so we started 5 days early in Montana and took the long way around to Cheyenne through Yellowstone (stayed at pahaska teepee ranch just outside the gates so we could self-guide north one day and south the next), Jackson (toured tetons out of Jackson) and drove across state to Cheyenne (fairly uneventful, long drive). everything was much further, drive-wise, than it looked on the map!!
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

Did Yellowstone, Cody, Teton, Jackson tour couple years ago in June. HIGHLY recommend Yellowstone Basin Inn in Gardner for Yellowstone base. Easy access to park from there. The innkeeper and his wife are great. He is like having a private guide. Each day he will take your map and set out a route for each section; where to go/not to go; where to park, short hikes, etc. They make awesome breakfast every morning and box lunch for the day. Stayed at Rustic Inn in JH; very nice though pricey; but everything is pricey there. https://www.yellowstonebasininn.comhttps://rusticinnatjh.com/?
