I'm a millwright and I work in some bad situations on occasions. It's a lot less painful to tear up a $80 watch than destroy a $800 cell phone. I guess that's the reason I have only had 2 phones in the last 10+ years (I flip and a 6s), it's a phone.

Battery powered Marathon issued by the Army in 1990 with a nylon band. Only feature it has is that it shows correct time, also it aint as big as a hubcap.

Timex Ironman Triathlon for 5+ years, I am on my 4th set of batteries, and about to have to change the band. Not bad for a $40 watch I don't guess.
