how do you gut a frog without cutting it clean in half?

I got some Cajun inlaws that make it look easy. But you need big ol fat frogs to start with.
They'll skin em, cut of the head and slice the belly then squeeze. Darn thing will be clean from nose to toes.

are these Alabama frogs in my swamp worth eating? some of them have to be 3-4 lbs. They're Selma Frogs if that makes a difference...and LOUD.

Them big bull frogs are delicious when done right. You just better know how to undress them or you wont have anything worth eating.

Man...you can have all you want. I'll even catch 'em and put 'em in a shoe box and mail them to you...:) poke a couple of holes in the box? should be nice and ripe when they get there in this heat..

Are they really Bull Frogs? 😆

I don't know, they get cranked up in the evening, and I've seen them along the bank of the pond. Never caught one.

Back in my airboat days I had a friend in the Everglades with a commercial frogging business. He gave me a bunch of dressed legs to eat. I fried them up and made a pig of myself but got sick from overindulging. Can't eat them anymore. Now gator is another story. Tasty and I still eat them! thumbup

A guy I used to work with had parents who were missionaries in Cameroon. He told me about these frogs a couple of years ago, before then I had never heard of them.

Tie his legs to your ears!! Lol
