I run 3 Spartan 4G Cams with ATT as the carrier Matt. They work great. Email and text you the pics. Really Long battery life..great pictures, always goes off.
I don't have any complaints about them. Their customer service has been great too.

Verizon. They had AT&T same price What do you typically have pay monthly to Verizon in addition to the cost of the cameras? Is it per camera cost or flat rate for all cameras? Trying to estimate monthly bill for live pictures?

$18/month for 2 cameras for 5000 pics between the 2. Can go less or more. My 5000 pics usually are up after 14-20 days but I just refresh my account

I think Verizon has a deal where if you have VZW phone service on an unlimited plan, you can add cameras for $5/ea per month. They used to have that deal, but may not anymore.

If Verizon upgrades to 5g like they are saying will cameras be useless It'll be a while on that. They're not phasing out 3G until December of this year, and 4G has been the standard for several years now.

The Verizon spartan gocam will cost me $5 month to add to my existing Verizon unlimited data account. There will be a one time fee of $40 to activate the line.

If someone can find the AT&T version of the go cam at the same price post it up please.

I will agree Hal that going through Verizon is not user friendly by any means. The folks I did speak with were very helpful at Verizon and sounded familiar with the camera. I thought it would be a simple task to add the camera via Verizon’s website. I was mistaken!
How many pictures will 1gig get you in a 3 month period. I would have been fine using Spartans program but was uncertain on how much data to buy and how man pictures each data program would provide. With covert you buy X amount of pictures and I’m able to share that amount via 6 cameras. It’s a little easier to make a decision when you know what you are getting.

It says that 1gig will be 5,000 pictures at the biggest thumbnail setting and 20,000 pictures on the smallest. I may be pushing it on a feed site, but otherwise, I think it will be just fine on the largest thumbnail to get 5k pictures in 3 months. And worst case scenario, say I hit the 1gig limit 2.5 months in here and there thru the year, it just renews. I mean, putting it on Verizon account is ideal, but having to go thru the Spartan site isn't the end of the world. Especially would be nice for folks that don't have Verizon but still want the benefit of that service for their camera.

I have 3 spartan go-cams currently. Two of them are on my Verizon account for $5 each - then in order to use the "premium" functionality/app from Spartan, it's $3 a month - so $8 per cam per month. I can add the 3rd, but something about my current Verizon plan I have with them only let's me have a certain number of "connected devices", so I'd have to change my plan up and it would end up costing me a whole lot more for my base plan just to do that. So the third camera I got the data plan thru the Spartan website. I did the 1 gig/3 months for $35.99, which is $11.99 per month and it includes the use of the "premium" Spartan functionality. So it's only a few more bucks to do it this way. Also, adding it thru Spartan was much smoother than Verizon - the Verizon website wouldn't let me add them and the people on the phone acted like they had no clue what I was talking about... That's good to know. Will look at going through Spartan then. Thanks for sharing.
