This time of year I don't sit on the porch. Too damn miserable hot. When u work in it all day, it’s right cool about dusk. But I can understand how tuff it can get pushing that broom in the AC...  We all know, about 2:00 pm on a July day, you wish you was me! 😆 More like 8am!!
A friend, the Bible and a banker will get you though about anything.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

After supper I like to sit on the porch and listen to the Whippoorwills calling. There's 3 or 4 of them around here most nights. After a little while, between that and Bentley, our Yellow Lab, laying at my feet, it's hard to feel stressed.
It's been years since I heard a Whippoorwill. I sure was relaxing listening to them with the windows up laying in the bed.

This time of year I don't sit on the porch. Too damn miserable hot. this is so true...bad time of year to try and keep the place up, took the pole saw out yesterday cut 2 limbs...done! 30 min of work = an hour inside.

I just wear shorts and lightweight shirt out in it. I’ll bet wet from head to toe in this humidity but it’s fine with me

I worked outside most of my life, I got a pretty good job and they keep it 65 degrees. Somebody offered me $5 more an hour today. But it's outside. I'll probably stay were I'm at.
