As I lay here not being able to sleep I can't help but think " Why Tim Lord?" Why did you not take him when he wrecked the 4wheeler and crushed his liver when he was 15? Why did you not take him New Year's Eve when he flipped his truck and was thrown out the back glass when he was 18? Why didn't you take him 3 weeks ago when he crashed his motorcycle on I85 if you were just going to take him anyway? God puts us here for a reason and we all have a purpose. What was his purpose, Lord? What did you put him here for?

I pray and ask that all of you pray that Tim's death will not be in vain. That his death will bring enough attention to expose the corruption and lawlessness of this area and change it for the better.

This county is one of the poorest in the nation and one of the lowest in education in the state. Young men like Tim's killers will never have a chance without law and order. We need a changing of the guard so to speak to bring it back under control.

As much as I would like to go kill them all and feed them to the buzzards, that would only make it worse. We need a total purge of the county government.

On a positive note, we got almost three weeks with him while he was laid up from the motorcycle accident to spend with him that otherwise we wouldn't have because he would have been in Auburn working. We got to show him how much we loved him by caring for his wounds and talking and spending time with him.

God works in mysterious ways. My best friend got killed in a car wreck when i was riding with him. I almost died but was spared. He had a family and a boy that was 1 month old. I didnt have a family. I think about that almost everyday. Its been 20 years ago. It seems like God takes the special ones early.

Its a nightmare when you go looking for help and there is no help. I pray for your comfort sir.

But i can tell you first hand that there is a golden brick road leading to a massive golden fence with pearls on top of each pole. The rolling grassy hills are so green its amazing, and a tall skinny man with a staff standing there that turn some away and let some inside. Because i saw that first hand and i WILL NEVER FORGET my experience. I got turned away then woke up in the hospital. I was with my friend the whole time. He said his neck hurt. My family said that he died of a broken neck. Some dont believe me. They think i was dreaming.

We will never know why all of this happened until we get to Glory, but that man, suffering from those losses, penned the song, "It is Well with My Soul." I’m no biblical scholar by any means just a believer. We live in a fallen world full of hate that the devil himself has placed in the hearts and minds of many that walk this earth among us. Evil is all around us and I don’t believe that God let’s evil things happen to us or our loved ones. He gives us hope and faith to deal with it when those things happen. Jesus died for our sins so that we can have everlasting life if we accept him in our hearts. In the meantime we have to deal with those full of evil because of the fallen world we live in.
