Going to be down in PCB first part of July, looking for a inshore/nearshore or possibly even offshore trip. Anybody got any experience in that part of the country on who to use. I know the timing is not ideal, but I dont really care, just want to give it a shot.

whatever you do dont waste money on a party boat a 6 hour trip is about 4-5 hours of riding and about 20 minutes of fishing whats left over is dealing with BS after the deckhand re ties everyone that got tangled up from the last catch. ive been twice and the second time convinced me, i thought the first may have just been isolated. I did get lucky though a guy hooked a big amber jack that circled the whole boat and tangled up every single pole that was in the water I was still baiting a hook so i was able to fish undisturbed for maybe 30 minutes while the deckhand rerigged every pole on the boat just about. I ended up with 8 or 9 redfish

You caught redfish on a party boat? I’ve had great experiences on every head boat I’ve been on. Usually get plenty of beeeliners, and other assorted reef fish to eat while your on vacation

I have caught a lot of big snapper on party boats. Last time I actually fished for free if you figured up the cost of all the fillets we got. A few tricks to getting the big ones with all the rookies screwing everything up.

I've been out the past 5 years with a guy named Daron Harrison owns Tight Line Charters out of PCB. He runs a 24ish ft center console and can put you on anything you want. Inshore reds or offshore amber Jack and snapper. Always catch a limit. Can take up to 4 people at a time. Look him up on FB or PM me if you want a cell number.
