Man I'm dying to be out there. They ought to be moving. Talked to some guys that hunted Mississippi this morning behind the front moving thru over there and they said the deer were out like ants. Good luck this afternoon!

I am. Got in later than I wanted and ran some to my hunting buddy. He killed on of them. It was his second of the day.

Yeah, I almost froze, but the deer movement was good. Saw 8 from 4-dark, all about 75 yds out though. Not bad for my first time in a stand this year.

I'm headed to the tree now. It's WINDY in Dalllas County today ! Probably a waste of time but it beats work !

Hanging out with my 18 month old = way better than a deer hunt to me.
I took my cousin on the youth hunt in TN this morning. It was 27 degrees when I unlocked the gate this morning and as still as it gets. 3 does and 5 hens is all we saw.
